No data collection
ByteCut does not upload or store the images you process in the editor. All image processing happens entirely in your browser using client-side technologies.
No cookies
ByteCut does not currently use its own cookies or account tracking. The editor can be used without signing in, and images are processed locally in your browser.
Advertising and third-party cookies
If advertising is added to ByteCut, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can manage personalized advertising through your browser settings and Google ad settings. Advertising partners do not receive the images you process in ByteCut.
Local processing
All models and image processing run locally in your browser. Your images never leave your device. The processing model is downloaded once from a CDN and cached in your browser for subsequent visits.
Analytics
ByteCut may use privacy-conscious traffic analytics to understand which pages are visited and whether the product is working correctly. Analytics events do not include the image files you process.
Image files and exports
Source files, previews, masks, and exports are handled in the browser session. Downloads are created on your device, and clearing browser data can remove cached model files or temporary local state.
No account required
ByteCut requires no sign-up, login, or account creation. You can use the tool immediately without providing any personal information.
Your choices
You can use ByteCut without an account. You can also block cookies or third-party scripts in your browser, though some advertising, analytics, or model-loading features may be affected.
Contact
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to ByteCut via Resend so we can respond. We do not use those details for analytics or advertising.
